2000: Public School of Takis Zenetos, Athens (renovation). Renovation of the school Takis Zenetos designed at 1975 as tool for the integration of information technolofy in education. The school was conceived as a center, offering tele-education facilities to the community. Its present renovation aims at the reestablishement of this role. The electronic library, Zenetos designed and not constructed is added. |

The renovation of the School of Agios Dimitrios was done by the Organisation of School Buildings (OSB). It had started at the end of 2003 and finished at 2005. The design team was: Architects: Y. Papaioannou, D.Papalexopoulos, K.Mitsiou. Consultants at the first design phase: N.Kalogeras, M.Tzitzas, architects. Collaborating architect: A.Stavridou. Civil Engineers: Pagonis - Chroneas - Kinatos E.E. Mechanical Engineers: I.Tripidakis, D.Pantelakis. OSB design supervisor: V.Bemetatou. OSB construction supervisor: M.Nafpliotis. Constructor: Alkyon S.A.- D.Apostolopoulos, in situ supervisor K.Choussos. In the design team had participated: A.Petrakopoulos, P.Michalatos, Th. Charalambides, D.Papadopoulos, A.Kouveli, K.Malama, architects. The work could not be effectuated without the valuable help of K.Christofides, civil engineer, collaborator of T.Zenetos at the design and construction phase. |
